As a new tenant moving into a property, you will need to make sure that you do everything you can to look after your property. If this is your new home, why would you not want it to be as nice to be in as possible? You will spend 70% of your life in your home, so make sure its as perfect as you can make it.

There are obviously different ways on how to maintain your property and look after it properly. One main way to effectively look after your property is to keep effective maintenance. Make sure that you prevent any tiny issues from escalating further by stopping them ASAP. For example, if you see a leak, get it sorted while its small before it gets any bigger and ruins anything else in the property.

Regular inspections. Make sure that you get your house regularly inspected by professionals, this way they can assure you that your property has no issues, or if it does have any issues, can locate them and let you know exactly where they are and how to fix them correctly and safely.

Make sure that you also regularly clean the property. This is important for 2 reasons. One to make your house look nice and presentable and a pleasant place to be around, the other reason is to make sure that there are no infestations in the property. If things are very unclean and food is left around in places, it can be very common for insects or rodents to enter the property. This is a very big issue because these rodents and insects are usually filled with diseases that can be caught. If you have any sort of infestation present in your property, then report it to an exterminator as soon as possible.
