Viewings after Coronavirus!

There has been uncertainty and concern as to when the Housing Market would restart again. However, the government has now starting to set plans as to when the Housing Market can restart, as it has been shut down since the start of lockdown.

It has been announced that Estate Agents can now restart making viewings. They can be carried out if social distancing is followed and safety is maintained. The Government ask that the same amount of care still needs to be taken. People advised to self-isolate must continue to do so and not move houses.

It has been estimated that there are 450,000 buyers and renters with plans on hold, therefore the government state that they want to enable people to begin to move homes safely and that they want to restart the Sales and letting process again.

The Government stated that the Housing Market will quickly bounce back to how it was, as people are likely to re-engage with the housing market; after the restrictions of lockdown.

Unfortunately, some people may now struggle to engage with the housing market due to their finances being less secure, since the beginning of lockdown. People may now need to change their priorities, budget or location when looking for a house due to their financial changes.

If you are looking for a property please contact us. We are now conducting Safe viewings and ensuring Social Distancing is maintained.
