Tenant Fee Ban Act 1st June 2019 The tenant fees ban makes it illegal for agents and property management services to charge tenants additional fees for the setup costs of a tenancy. The new tenant fee act is now in force in England, capping the amount renters can be charged for their deposits and banning letting fees throughout as part of the Government bid to reduce hidden costs for tenants. Please note due to the fee ban there will be a landlord set up cost of £354.00  per property.
